We want to let you know about an upcoming change to fonts in Studio.Design.

Following the end of the agreement with Monotype, FONTPLUS fonts will no longer be available after April 7, 2026.

Starting April 8, 2026, any FONTPLUS fonts used in your projects will no longer be served and will automatically fall back to system fonts or alternatives.

If your project uses FONTPLUS fonts, we recommend replacing them with other fonts before April 7, 2026 to ensure everything continues to look as intended.

We know typography is important to your work, and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We received short notice about this change, so the timeline is tighter than we would like. We appreciate your patience, and we are here to support you through the steps below.

We’ll be taking additional steps to ease this transition:

• Email notifications (planned for March 24)

  We’re reaching out by email to projects using FONTPLUS fonts. All members invited to the project will receive this notice.

• Bulk font replacement (planned for March 24)

  We’re introducing a new feature that lets you replace affected fonts across your project with recommended or custom fonts, all at once in the editor. We’ll share an update as soon as it’s ready.

  To help avoid unexpected layout or visual changes, fonts will not be replaced automatically. You can review and update them directly in your project.

• Expanded font selections

  We’re also working on expanding the fonts available. More details will be shared soon.

We carefully explored options to continue offering FONTPLUS fonts through ongoing discussions. The path forward prioritizes the long-term stability and sustainability of our service to you.
