URLs, Unified
More control over your site URLs with www redirects and trailing slash settings for search engines.

You can now redirect visitors to your primary domain whether they access your site with or without www, and choose whether canonical URLs for subpages include a trailing slash, directly in Studio.Design.
This gives you more control over your URL structure when migrating a site or managing URLs for SEO.
Redirect www and non-www URLs to your primary domain
Enable www Redirect under Settings > General to redirect visitors to the domain connected in your publishing settings, whether they access www.example.com or example.com. Keeping your domain consistent helps prevent links and search engine rankings from being split across different versions of your URL.
This setting is available to project owners once a custom domain has been connected and TLS setup is complete. Before enabling it, add Studio’s A record to both the root domain and www subdomain through your domain provider.
Once you save the setting, the redirect takes effect without needing to update or republish your site.

Set trailing slashes for canonical URLs across your site
A canonical URL tells search engines which URL should be treated as the main version of a page when multiple URLs show similar content.
Under Settings > General > Trailing Slash, you can now choose whether canonical URLs for subpages include a trailing slash and apply that format consistently across your site.
This is particularly useful when migrating a website from another service to Studio.Design. Matching the URL format of your previous site helps communicate the intended canonical URLs to search engines.

By default, trailing slashes are disabled. Your selection is applied to canonical tags, og:url, and sitemap.xml.
Project owners can change this setting, and updates are applied to the published site once saved. Depending on caching, changes may take a few minutes to appear.
Note
This setting is available for projects using the new publishing infrastructure. Projects still using the legacy infrastructure will need to switch to the new infrastructure first.
This setting only changes the canonical URL output. It does not change the page URL itself or redirect between URLs with and without trailing slashes.
The homepage always includes a trailing slash, regardless of this setting.
